Artist Statement:
My painting is inspired by the way sunsets make you pause and truly appreciate the moment. I wanted to turn that beautiful, fleeting phenomenon into something permanent something that captures the feeling of watching the day slip into night. There’s something so peaceful about it a quiet reminder that change is constant and that there’s beauty in every transition. I painted it because I wanted to hold onto that brief, perfect moment when everything feels still, yet full of promise. It’s my way of keeping a piece of that calm and wonder for myself.
