TERMS & CONDITIONS
SECTION 1: YOUNG CANVAS REQUIREMENT
● The competition will be held under the following categories:
1. Mixed Media
2. 3D Art/installation
3. 2D Art(painting ,drawing)
4. Digital Art
● Only one entry will be acceptable in each category.
● The participants are required to upload at least three raw pictures to show the process of their final outcome.
● The participants must submit an artist statement for each work/entry on the following specifications:
1. Word limit: 100-150 words
2. Font Size (heading): 16
3. Font Size (main body): 12 4. Font Style: Times new Roman
SECTION 2: RIGHTS
● Beaconhouse will take all steps to ensure photographs and videos of the participants are usedsolely for the purposes they are intended for.
● We reserve the right to terminate the participant’s use of the service or website for violating any of the prohibited uses.
● We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. The participants are responsible to monitor changes to our website.
● We reserve copyrights on all submitted pieces. No artwork will be returned or refundable.
● All work will remain the property of Beaconhouse which may use or exhibit them for appropriate non profit making purposes within its own activities.
● At Beaconhouse , we take personal information privacy and child protection very seriously .Submission by the participants of personal information through the website is governed by our Privacy Policy. The participants personal information will not be shared with third parties for any purposes.
● A breach or violation of any of the terms will result in an immediate termination of the participant ‘sentry(ies).
● In accordance with our Student Protection Policy, we assume photographs, videos or other images are uploaded with the consent of the parents/ guardians, either.
SECTION 3: RESPONSIBILITIES
● The participant expressly agrees that the use of, or inability to use, the service is at the participant’s sole risk.
● The artwork submitted must be the original work of the entrant themselves and not infringe the copyright, moral rights or other rights of any third party. Artworks that are deemed to not belong to or be created by the entrant will NOT be eligible.
● The participants are prohibited from using the site or its content for any of the following purposes:
(a) for any unlawful purpose;
(b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts;
(c) to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances;
(d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others;
(e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability;
(f) to submit false or misleading information;
(g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the service or of any related website ,other websites, or the Internet;
(h) to collect or track the personal information of others;
(i) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape;
(j) for any obscene or immoral purpose;
(k) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the service or any related website, other websites, or the Internet.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
The results will be announced on our website and Facebook page. All the selected participants will be notified through their emails. Non selected participants will not be notified of the results
