About Artist:
My name is Hafsa Mohsin, and I am 11 years old. I study in the best school and am currently in Grade 6. One of my achievements is earning a position in the Annual Prize Distribution, and I am also good at sports. I live with my family in Lahore and consider myself an introvert. My goal is to always stay happy and never get nervous in any situation. My hobby is playing and doing art. My strength is that I am creative, and my weakness is that I am not very confident. Last but not least, I am sincere, responsible, and soft-hearted.
Artist Statement:
This artwork draws inspiration from the serene beauty of Venice, blending vibrant architecture with a dreamlike sunset. The rich, warm colors of the buildings contrast with the soft reflections on the water, evoking a sense of nostalgia and tranquility. The golden domes and distant mountains add an element of fantasy, making the scene feel both familiar and magical. Created using watercolors, this piece captures fluidity and light through soft gradients and expressive brushstrokes. The fine ink outlines enhance the details, bringing structure to the loose, dreamy washes of color. The boats gently resting on the water add movement, guiding the viewer’s eye deeper into the scene.
