بند جھروکے

Sara Munim

Description :

I am showing Bazaar e Husn of Multan in this art piece. What I want to portray here, is the hypocrisy in our culture. We condemn this kind of stuff and call it illegal and the biggest sin, however at the same time we promote objectifying women’s bodies and we exactly don’t know what is going on behind that بند جھروکے. I would like to thank my parents for allowing me to visit that bazaar and make this artwork on the spot. I used watercolors and acrylic paint to make this mixed medium painting.
