Description :

This picture is filled with things that connect to happiness for me. I chose pinks, greens, purples, yellows and blues because they are colours that make me feel good. I added a cat and dog because for me, animals give me feelings of joy. I gave all things with faces a smile to further show that this is a happy place. I made the drawing look a bit childish to give it that child like feeling of joy, like a child’s dream land.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
