Bazaar In My City

Muhammad Hassaan

Description :

The scenario showed in my art work is from an old window in a neighbourhood from where a small area of permanent bazaar and not a temporary bazaar can be seen. The small congested wooden cabins and among them a cart like shop is settled. The crowd is much more than i have drawn in reality. The shops drawn are very common. Each of my shop has its own importance. The “halwai” shop is mostly crowded at evening as it brings us our “saugat” (speciality). Beside this shop there is a tailor shop which is much popular among women. Due to warm climate of my city Karachi it is must of having a juice shop for thirsty costumers tired of shopping. For the interest of young boys and girls there is a toy shop and a jewellery shop. A shoe shop and flower shop which have the interest of everyone is also drawn. For the people who are done with their shopping they get a rickshaw and after doing bargaining throughout their shopping they get a ride to their home.
