Azka Khan

Description :

My name is Azka Khan and I am 13 years old. I love drawing, painting and using markers to color in my creations. For this competition I chose to create the the colorful Moti Bazaar in Pindi, Islamabad. I chose the 2D painting choice because i enjoy making my master pieces in 2 dimensional form. It was so incredibly fun creating this piece of art and it was a good way to get creative with the colors and possibilities. I drew stalls and hangers from which many colorful and nice clothes are hanging or are over lapping each other just like in the actual bazaar

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
