This acrylic painting depicts the scenic bazaars of my beloved hometown “the Hunza valley”.This piece which encompasses and translates the true essence of the famous Karimabad bazaar has been painted used multiple techniques over a course of multiple days. Firstly in order to tap into the viewers imaginations I remained extremely careful in choosing the appropriate angles. Leading the on lookers eye till the end. Additionally I also incorporated the palette knife technique to not only create highlights and shadows on the mountain in the backgoeind but to also to attain a realistic feel. These techniques have not only allowed my painting to be technically strong but also pleasing to the eye of any ordinary viewer. Also it remained essential for me to chose the right colours which well encapsulated the feel of the bazaar, it’s traditional outlook and it’s vibrance. I further carefully had to delve deep in various shades of brown in order to not only have the perfect base colour for structures but also layer a multiple shades to achieve the rustic look. Further detailing done with the utmost vigilance remained of vital importance during the making of the making of the art piece as it was a testament to enriched Hunza culture. Although the process challenged my abilities each step of the way, this is an ode to the bazaar of my city.
