The painting I introduce you is something that reminds me of my childhood. When I was younger, we used to live near a carpet bazaar. It was always fascinating to look at, there were always colorful, cheering carpets that you can stare at all day long. One day we when to a shop for carpets, I took a look at a green carpet, it was so beautiful, large in size. I ask my mother if she can buy that for my room. She replied look Mnaam you are liking it because you are young you would probably forget it when you will grow up. long story short I never forget that carpet.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
