Painting is a way of expressing our inner emotions, and there is no better way to express this than through being creative with art. My painting is about a journey our family was once on. We went to the house of a distant relative. I was very shocked that there was a huge tree with bushes that surrounded their house and the landscape was so incredibly beautiful and untouched. So I decided this is a perfect reason to paint this because happiness could be expressed by relaxing in the countryside.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
