Dil-o-Demagh ka Bazaar

Fatima Mazhar

Description :

In this illustration i drew what i remember of the off-white walls and floors of most Markets in Karachi, like Gold Market, Zainab Market etc. I went through a lot of trial and error, especially since I don’t usually draw with this specific perspective or anything that doesn’t mainly focus on humans, but overall im really proud of it! I called it “Dil-o-Demagh ka Bazaar” because these types of bazaars are carved into my mind and heart as an important part of my upbringing in Karachi. From buying fabrics to getting piercings. To show this , i used many colours you wouldn’t usually see in these bazaars.
