This masterpiece is created by a student who is on the autism spectrum with the help of her teacher. The student loves to do arts and crafts and create new stuff with the help of using different materials as can be seen in the artwork. This masterpiece depicts a street of old Lahore where there are people busy shopping and a whole traditional marketplace is displayed. In this particular artwork, a wide range of materials has been used such as; felt sheets, jute, paints, bamboo sticks, formic sheets, markers, etc.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
