EXPRESSION OF HAPPINESS The recent rains were a source of happiness and joy for the children of my neighbourhood. I saw them playing and enjoying the coolness of the weather after a long spell of hot summers. This was a good subject for me and I decided to preserve it on my canvas. I painted it in mix medium and it was much of a joy for me that it popped out of the canvas.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
