Expressionless Pleasure

Rukhma Butt

Description :

This Art-piece reflects that expressions are not necessary when it comes to the word “Happiness”. Its something we call “inner joy”, expressing it or not its our choice. The drips of paint represents how she is melting at peace, her smile is not revealing as if she is pressing her lips. The colors of the backgrounds speaks for her noiseless happiness. The butterfly shows that even though she is quiet and hiding her feelings but still she is able to fly. The things that give her more power and pleasure have taken the shape of a flower. The black paint and white drips at the left side shows how she controls the world, black, by her quietness ,white drips. However, I have used acrylic paints to paint this masterpiece and POSCA for defining happiness.
