This 2D artwork of mine depicts the happiness of freedom and what calm it brings to the soul of a person. We all have desires to fly higher in our respective aspects of life either spiritually or philosophically but we also want to be as free as a bird in the sky. The inspiration of my artwork is an open plain I visited in one of my tours in Pakistan. It was so beautiful that I instantly imagined myself in the middle of nowhere in a peaceful landscape where only I and my freedom dwells. I envisioned myself as chasing the birds through the vast land and seeing them fade in and out of the cloud.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
