My painting is about dreams, imagination and that anyone can be anything. In my painting the girl represents me and beyond the keyhole are my dreams and they can only come true by working hard and working hard is the key to my dreams. The dark sky shows the hard life and that it will be hard to find the key to put in the keyhole and open the door of succession but by working hard the key will come to you by itself and open the door of succession. I have made my painting with acrylic paints and I have used a little bit of poster paints to show the sky inside the keyhole.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
