Description :

The title translates to “A Maiden’s Field”; a woman is seen standing in the middle of a field, fondly smiling. As the sun’s rays let her bask it it, she knows that she feels free, and is free in her safe haven, her field given by Mother Nature herself. The process took longer than expected as I was changing concepts while making the artwork. However, I enjoyed making the background which was my first time, the lighting and the woman’s face. After a few months of being inactive in digital art, I believe I surpassed my capacities and outdid myself with this piece which I am so proud of.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
