My dream of Happiness

Happiness is a state of mind,its a feeling within me that comes from certain things that make me feel joyful or merry.To me my family,friends,pets,travelling and my favourite foods are some things which make me truly happy.The main idea of my artwork is a girl inside a crystal orb floating in the sky surrounded by clouds on top of which there a things which make her happy.For the background I made a collage,used markers and watercolour paint for details,colour pencils for the shading of the orb,cotton balls on some of the clouds while the others had white glitter paste and finally oil pastels for some part of the background. For the finishing touches I added yellow and silver stars.Based on a dream I created this fun illustration making it come to life!

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
