Nostalgic conventional, convenient and novel

Reinvention of our human civilization, of its culture and its societal norms is just a common feature of our rapidly changing world. That was my idea for developing this art piece, I wanted to combine the idea of an older, and more traditional version of a bazaar in Pakistan, and the idea of a newer, remodeled bazaar, with its buildings and its ability to provide larger quantities of products (as shown by the van in one of the thirds of the piece). I included some human figures to also help understand the merging of modern life with traditional or orthodox life in Pakistan (This is represented by the child and the seller directing their eyes towards a newly under construction building). I wanted to visualize the changes of culture of bazaars in Pakistan, not only to have fun with it in an artistic way, rather also including the message that as we progress and prosper our society, it is essential to remember our roots, our nationality and the traditions that built it. Keeping this in mind, the piece itself took 15-16 hours to paint digitally, I hope the work shows all fundamentals of art being used together in harmony also portraying the description written visually.
