Petals of Joy

Duaa Tazmeen

Description :

With the theme being “Expressions of Happiness” I decided to create this art piece to try to show how even simple things can result in profound happiness. In the artwork itself I decided to use flowers as an example. I came to the conclusion of using this specific type of flower in my drawing after careful research about flowers & their meaning. This type of flower is known as “Gerbera” & it is a symbol of cheerfulness. Life is full of bumps so sometimes even the smallest things can bring us great joy, a point I tried to illustrate through the background of my artwork via the breaking pieces.
