Hello everyone, I am Wania Ammad from Beaconhouse School System, Karachi. I love reading books, swimming and exploring the natural beauty. As painting is the best way to express the feelings that’s why I love to paint and draw as well. This is my 2-D masterpiece. This art piece specifically shows the expression of happiness. As the life of everyone is comprised of happiness, sorrows, smiles and worries. It depends on us, how we are taking it. I think if we smile more, automatically our worries will be less. In this artwork, I drew so many flowers because I think flowers play an important role in showing the expressions of happiness. Birds are free and they are going to their houses to get shelter and food. As Dove is the symbol of peace so my art piece tells us about peace which gives us the eternal happiness.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
