The market that I have drawn is near my house. There is a vegetable shop, a bakery, a milk shop and a meat shop. There is always a hustle bustle of cars and people. Animals also love to live near the shops. Everything is available in this market. I enjoy buying stuff from this market and passing by this market in my car. It’s one of the oldest markets of Karachi, I have been seeing this market since my childhood. This market adds liveliness to the whole area where people can walk freely and buy necessary items. This is the reason I choose to draw this market.

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
