The Brightening Feeling

Whenever you are happy and when you express it you brighten others around you as well. Everyone around the world has a different style of expressing their happiness, Some sing, dance, jump around or just smile but no matter how you do it, it makes you shine above everything else. Your happiness makes others happy too. Whenever you are happy you just care about expressing it and forget all your worries. Whenever you are happy you forget about the differences you have from other people, and are just ready to be friends and ready to give everything. My painting shows two very happy friends who are twirling around to express it. I have made them using pieces from magazines to make a collage and to show them brighter than their surroundings. Some things around them are also made the same way showing that their happiness is brightening other things too. My painting is mainly a collage but some parts of it are done using pointillism.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
