The posh and privileged

Marryam kamal

Description :

Among the various Bazaars of my city, there is one in particular that caters to the more privileged and rich. Malls and shopping outlets, littered with name brand clothing, jewelry and makeup stores. The people in my drawing represent the posh, privileged, rich, people who are attracted to these brands just because of their names. Our society, in my opinion, puts too much emphasis on appearances. The eye, which is the center focus, represents the eyes of the average person, the every-man, someone who despite not having enough money for these items is attracted to them just for the status they bring with them.
