The small bits of happiness that keep us going

Aryan Ghani

Description :

This artwork portrays two underprivileged boys in Pakistan, reflecting their tough lives. Despite the unforgiving and unfair lives they have lived, their excitement and happiness are evident upon receiving wrapped burgers. The artwork metaphorically represents Pakistan, a country that has endured harsh circumstances, yet stands proud along with people who love it. These fleeting moments of joy symbolize their unwavering dedication to their homeland. Although not typically associated with expressions of happiness, the artwork captures Pakistan’s unique expression—a celebration of small joys that overshadow adversity. The boys were hand-drawn by me and placed within the background.
