Colours of “Itwaar Bazaar”

Mahad Hassan

Description :

This is my 2-D masterpiece and the inspiration behind it was our famous local “Itwaar Bazaar”. I wanted it to look colorful and vibrant so I used bright gouache paints along with markers. This painting specifically shows the ‘dupatta section’ of itwaar bazaar. Lots and lots of dupattas, of every imaginable color are hung from the ropes held at sides and the rest are folded and present in stacks in front of them. The mud track in between runs a long way down the bazaar.
