The Empress Market

Mustafa Khan

Description :

My masterpiece is inspired by the old Empress Market. It is located in Saddar Karachi. I drew in the way in which the local bazars of my country look like. The grains in my country are sold according to the Kg in sack’s. The truck art around here and the ajrak represent a large part of my local culture. The Samosas , Jalebi’s, and roll paratha’s are some of the famous foods of my beautiful country. The blue pottery in my country is exported all around the world. The food and grains in my country are transported thorough trucks and rickshaws. In this type of market every need is available, whether it’s meat or vegetable , groceries, grains or even a chocolate and cheese or clothes.
