“Bazaars of my city”

Hooriya Abdul Rahim

Description :

A bazaar is a marketplace consisting of multiple small stalls or shops. Bazaars are located in vaulted or covered streets that had doors on each end and served as a city’s central marketplace. The theme for this contest is “Bazaars of my city” and with the help of mixed media technique I used acrylic paints, poster paints, cotton for clouds, play dough (for making vegetables and fruits), stickers, balloons, cloth (for making tappers), formica (for showing buildings), beads, “Gotta” flowers, different lentils, toy characters (representing people) and many different colors to present a beautiful bazaar. With different types of strokes using different brushes and color contrast, shades, and tones I tried to give my painting a realistic effect.
