When I think of lahore and especially bazars of lahore I imagine a place where we can buy basic day to day things from groceries to fruits to vegetables etc.The walled city of Lahore is enclosed with beautiful architectures known as Gates of Lahore. My art work brings back a feel of Mochi Gate.I have tried to depict the feel of it through my art work. I have tried to use vibrant colours as that’s what my city( Lahore) is known for. I have tried to add some banner depicting significant details that can give a feel of the real beauty of our famous bazars. The medium of colouring I have used is water colours.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
