THE SYMBOL OF LIFE

My artwork serves as a symbolic representation of the cycle of life and the interplay between decay and rejuvenation within nature. In the foreground of the composition stands a majestic, yet lifeless, dead tree. Its gnarled branches reach outwards, displaying a haunting silhouette against the backdrop. The barren branches, devoid of leaves or signs of vitality, evoke a sense of melancholy and the passing of time. Weathered bark and intricate patterns etched into the tree’s surface speak of its resilience and history. Contrasting starkly against the lifeless tree is a vibrant and radiant counterpart in the background. A magnificent tree bursts forth with an explosion of vivid colors, its branches adorned with lush foliage in various hues. The leaves, painted in an array of brilliant greens, oranges, yellows, and purples, create a vivid tapestry of life and energy. The rich palette symbolizes the beauty and abundance of life, representing the continuous cycle of growth and renewal. I created my drawing using water colour, poster colour, spilled coffee, tissue paper and a variety of materials.
