Dance until you shatter yourself ~RUMI

Aswa Gohar

Description :

In the mystical philosophy of Sufism, if the world is the demonstration of the divine, then humans are also divine. In the ritual dance where consciousness penetrates the essence, the lover joins with the beloved, the dance is a ritual of divine love. The whirling dervish ceremony known as the Sema, started as a form of meditation by Jalaluddin Rumi, a famous Sufi Muslim mythic and poet in the 13th century. This acrylic painting is just showing the love for God through a dance Rumi did long a ago. Applying layers on layers, I made this mater piece, one of the best I’ve ever created.
