I decided on this art piece because it is something that I’m used to drawing as I always seek something around me that motivates me and gets my creative thoughts running. “Basket of Flowers” is complemented by the apples, pears and grapes with a glass giving a feeling of one who is reading for a picnic over the weekend with loved ones. I am happy and content with myself when I draw because I feel that time passes very fast and I also enjoy the fact that I can use my talents.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
