There are many expressions for happiness but to me happiness is found in flowers. We know how flowers are gifted on special occasions but we also give flowers to the sick and to the dead, it shows love and care and with that it shows happiness. We are happy to be loved and to be cared. I used yellow color to express happiness while the flowers are quite colorful so that even though we cant capture a fragrance in a painting we can still show it with the richness of colors. Flowers have always been important to me not only because of the meaning of my name but because how beautiful they are as there mere existence can be the cause of someone’s happiness.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
