This piece reflects that true happiness comes in the company of nature. There are multi-colored flowers which are the harbinger of spring. There is a peacock which is a symbol of power, strength, confidence, and even divinity, Being in nature reduces anger and stress and induces pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel happy, it also contributes to one’s physical wellbeing. Human happiness lies in the beauty of nature. I began by cutting cardboard in the shape of a photo booth. I then proceeded to make a couple flowers out of paper. I then crafted a peacock and glued these art pieces onto the booth.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
