About Artist:

Hello, I’m Ali Hamid, a football enthusiast with a hidden talent for creativity. When I’m not kicking the ball around, you can find me immersed in art and craft. I’m passionate about bringing ideas to life through posters and projects, and I’m very excited to participate in the Young Canvas Art Competition again this year. I look forward to showcasing my unique ideas and connecting with other art enthusiasts.

Artist Statement:

I drew a mosque in the water because I wanted to show how beautiful and peaceful it looks. I’ve always been fascinated by Islamic architecture, and I love how the mosque’s design seems to blend perfectly with its surroundings. The mosque is an important part of my culture, where we go to pray. The reflection in this drawing is not only the visual one that we see, but it also shows the reflection of faith and harmony in one’s life. I have used different shades of pencils to make the picture look realistic. I hope people who see my drawing feel calm and happy, and think about the importance of peaceful places in our lives.
