The Sleeping City Of Shadows And Reflections

Artist Name: Zainab Nauman

About Artist:

I’ve been doing art since I was little. I like to draw landscapes and animals, especially horses, since I also ride them. I use charcoal for most of my artwork because it creates a beautiful shadow effect.

Artist Statement:

I wanted to create something that gives a dark and quiet feeling, but also works as a landscape. I first thought of cities, but since cities are always loud and full of life, I decided to go with the opposite. I used charcoal to give the artwork a shadowy, reflective impression.
