About Artist:

My name is Hooriya Khan, and I’m 10 years old. I’ve been doing art since I was 8. I enjoy crafts and painting, and people often say my drawings are very beautiful. I love making wall-hanging crafts. I’m kind and helpful, and I also like music and enjoy collecting art supplies!.

Artist Statement:

I made a painting called “The Blue Scape” on canvas using acrylic paints. First, I sketched out the cityscape, then added shadows and light. After that, I did some shading to enhance the overall look. I used blue for the sky to represent night, as the color blue makes me feel peaceful. I even used a toothpick to create the moon and stars. Finally, I added the finishing details, and my painting came to life!
