Artist Statement:
This painting showcases a lively mix of domes, minarets, and archways as the sun shines over the buildings. This piece, painted in bright, bold colors, reflects the architecture of earlier times.
Mixed Media Art:
Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.
