Through the Tranquil Waters

Artist Name: Akshitha Bringi Navin

About Artist:

Hi! I’m Akshitha, an 8th grader at Beaconhouse Sri Inai International School. My passions include reading, playing sports, and watching TV. Since joining Beaconhouse, I have been exploring various techniques for creating beautiful artworks by experimenting with oil pastels, poster colours, stippling, and more.

Artist Statement:

Using a vibrant palette of poster colours, I created my artwork titled “Through the Tranquil Waters.” The inspiration behind this painting is one of the true wonders of Putrajaya the Seri Gemilang Bridge. This piece brought back many fond memories of my trips to Putrajaya with my grandparents and classmates, when we would stop to admire the beauty of the bridge. Also known as the Ceremonial Bridge, it is considered the most attractive bridge in Putrajaya.
