Shadows in Architecture

Artist Name: Muhammad Huzaifah

About Artist:

I am a 13-year-old artist with a passion for painting, singing, and robotics. I also enjoy skating and reciting Naats. Art allows me to express my creativity, and in this competition, I am presenting a painting that reflects shadows in architecture. I hope you appreciate my work as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Artist Statement:

Architecture is more than just structures; it is a play of light, shadows, and geometric harmony. In my painting, I have captured an architectural building where geometric shapes interact with light, creating striking reflections and shadows. The contrast between light and dark brings depth and movement, emphasizing how architecture transforms with time and perspective. Through this artwork, I aim to highlight the beauty of structured design and the ever-changing dance of shadows, inviting the viewer to see buildings not just as concrete forms but as living art.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect.
