Morning at the Bazaar

Beatrice Gwee Wan Ning

Description :

I created my masterpiece to represent people selling various items and all sorts of people, both young and old, in the bazaar. My concept is stalls on both sides and customers everywhere. I used colour pencils for the colour and tried to depict exactly what people would wear to a bazaar. I also drew a banner overhead which gave it a kind of shelter and a more cozy feel than an out-in-the-open market. I also tried to imagine how people would stand and position themselves naturally. There is a wide variety of stalls that I drew and tried it to make it related to my country, Malaysia.
