I got the idea from old Lahore. One day I visited old Lahore with my family and the unique architecture of that place really inspired me. The whole scene was so captivating and phenomenal; everything was carved and designed in such a unique way. Especially the small markets situated in the outskirts of that place are so traditional and captivating. I took inspiration from one of my picture that i took inspiration from one of my picture that I took of Lahori Darwaza and a small market located nearby that traditional passageway. Its one of the oldest markets of Lahore.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
