Description :

In the light of the recent global events with the war of Russia and Ukraine, I dedicate this artwork for the peace of all and hope to inspire future generations to create a peaceful and brighter future. This is inspired by the recent action of a Ukrainian woman who gave sunflower seeds to a Russian soldier after telling him to leave her country and told him to put it in his pocket so then when he dies, the flower will bloom in the Ukrainian land. At that time, my class was studying human rights. It was stated that we have the right to life and live in freedom and safety. The time in my artwork is dusk. I do not hope to see a darker end to this.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
