Golden Hour at Lahore Fort: Where Shadows and Art Unite

Artist Name: Mahveen Abbas

About Artist:

Hi! I’m Mahveen Abbas, a 7th grader from Beaconhouse Girls Branch Township, Lahore. Photography has been my hobby since I was in 2nd grade, and over the years, I’ve developed a deep love for capturing the beauty of nature and the complex details of my country’s old architecture. In addition to photography, I also have a keen interest in sketching, which allows me to explore my creativity in a different way. I’m excited to keep learning and growing in these fields, as I believe both art forms help me see the world in new and inspiring ways.

Artist Statement:

This photograph beautifully captures the magnificent design on one of the walls of Lahore Fort, which immediately caught my attention. The shadows and reflections during sunset made the scene even more eye-catching. The warm sunlight made the details of the design stand out, and the colours in the sky made everything look so peaceful and cool.
