Kek Lok Si Temple (Penang)

Artist Name: Wang Jing Xuan

About Artist:

I am a Beaconhouse Sri Inai student. I have been learning piano for two years. This is the first time I have taken part in Young Canvas. I like watching anime, playing games, and reading books. I also like attending sports inter-houses like badminton and netball.

Artist Statement:

What I loved about this building is that there are many buildings, and at any angle, it will still be beautiful. I put a lot of hard work into this drawing. It took me about three hours to do one building, and I hope that you find it amazing just like I do. This is certainly one of the best artworks that I have ever done. I put my sweat and tears into this drawing (just not blood) :). I was having a fever, cough, flu, and sore throat when I did this, but because of the tight deadline, I still had to do it. Hope you love it!
