Artist Statement:
This painting captures the timeless beauty of the Taj Mahal, a symbol of love and architectural grandeur. Using a blend of oil paint and watercolors, I aimed to convey the deep emotional connection this iconic structure has to history and love. The rich, vivid tones of oil paint bring the architecture to life, while the delicate blending of watercolors reflects the softer, ethereal qualities of the monument, evoking a sense of nostalgia and reverence. The reflection in the water symbolizes the passage of time and the enduring legacy of the Taj Mahal, allowing us to connect with its past, as it continues to inspire awe and admiration. Through this piece, I hope to honor the love and beauty encapsulated in this remarkable structure, inviting the viewer to reflect on its profound cultural and emotional significance.
