About Artist:

I am an 18-year-old AS Level Pre-Engineering student. I have been painting since high school, starting when I was around 8 to 10 years old. I began as a beginner and participated in many art competitions. Over time, I have explored sketching, acrylic painting, and watercolor painting. However, with practice, I have developed stronger skills and a deeper interest in acrylic painting.

Artist Statement:

This artwork includes the reflection of architecture and lights. It mainly features buildings in the background, with lights reflecting on the surface below and people walking along the path.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
