Risalpur is a city in Nowshera District, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, on the Nowshera-Mardan Road. It is nearly 45 km from Peshawar and 18 km from Mardan and is located at 34°4’52N 71°58’21E.[1] In a basin some 1014 feet above sea level, it is bounded on the south and west by the Kabul and Kalpani rivers, respectively. The famous Khyber Pass lies 90 kilometers to the north. Risalpur is known as “Home of Eagles” and “Home of Sappers”. It has several important educational institutions and industrial plants. Languages spoken here are Urdu, English, Pashto, and others.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
