I used my garden’s leaves, flowers , wood, newspapers, colors, and wool in my painting. While the girl swings and takes in the beauty of nature, the girl has a really happy and cheerful look. She smiles as well, thanks to the butterfly Near her as the butterfly is such a lovely and adorable creature! As we all come closer to nature, we discover new things and are joyful because nature is so lovely. Therefore, my image depicts how nature Expresses happiness. I made this image because I feel delighted and happy every time I am around nature, swings and butterflies!

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
