bazaars of my city

Mahnoor Javed

Description :

The reference of this painting is from one of the local bazaars near my home. I got inspiration from there and wanted to portray the aesthetic beauty of Pakistani bazaars through my painting. The medium I used are watercolors along with some details by pen. I thought watercolors were the best suited for this painting because the way the colors blend and merge with each other it symbolized the actual imagery of that bazaar that how things were linked and intermingled there and that is the beauty of our traditional and typical markets showing a sense of freedom and simplicity where everything exists and everyone can do whatever they want without any bounds of particular order or class. One thing that really captivated my eyes were the buildings thats why in the painting the focus is mostly upon the buildings.
